On October 5, 2018, the Minadanao Central Sanitarium held a Breast Cancer Awareness activity at the OPD conference room at 9am in the morning. The activity was attended by several MCSGH staff and gratuity workers.On the event proper, participants were given pink ribbon pins which symbolizes their support for the Breast Cancer Awareness. Dr. Ma. Agnas Mabolo, MS II, Non-Communicable Disease Cluster Head, DOH Region 9 was the guest speaker that day who shared with us important knowledge about breast cancer awareness. Dr. Sandy F. Macrohon, MD was also one of the speaker on the said event who also contributed important knowledge and techniques on how to identify breast cancer. 

 The participants joined the demonstration on how to identify a breast cancer through techniques given by the speaker. The speakers also shared what are the do's and don'ts to avoid breast cancers, especially the food we eat.

The event ended at lunch where the participants where given a packed lunch and a simple snack of donuts. The speakers were awarded with their certificate of appreciation and everyone went their ways with their new found knowledge on breast cancer.
